For the past several years I have been exploring opportunities for practical application of my skills as an artist, doing graphic design and illustration. Recently I have focused on scientific illustration, collaborating with scientists to make cover art, illustrations and diagrams for research papers and presentations.
The interdisciplinary nature of this work provides an opportunity to create images that require specificity as well as artistic value. In my illustrations I aim to create memorable visual references that illuminate ideas and make scientific discoveries more accessible.
I live in Cambridge, Massachusetts and hold an MFA from The University of British Columbia and a BFA from the Bezalel Academy of Art. I have also completed targeted graphic design course work at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
