A site specific book made for the the teachers' lounge in the art department of the Bezalel Academy for Art and Design. The project focuses on the concept of a book, and how it changes once it is tied to a specific location. A book is usually created as means of efficiently distributing information regardless of the place in which it is being viewed. I was interested in creating a book that would make sense only when viewed at a specific location. The pages in the book are dictated according to various assignments that were given to me upon request. Many of the pages are based on various elements that are found within the lounge and in its surroundings, including the politically charged physical setting of the academy, the views that can be seen through its windows, and the atmosphere within the department.
